Guns N’ Roses bassist and Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer Duff McKagan has today announced his third solo album. Lighthouse is McKagan’s first full album since 2019’s Tenderness and releases October 20th.

McKagan has become a household name in rock over since gaining fame with Guns N’ Roses and going on to be a part of other huge bands such as Velvet Revolver, Loaded and most recently Iggy Pop and The Losers.

‘Lighthouse’ features Duff McKagan opening himself up and finding hope within darkness. Feeling not too dissimilar from Tenderness tracks, McKagan seems to have fully established himself a singer-songwriter.

The announcement of Lighthouse follows the release of ‘This Is The Song’, a three track EP which was released to tie in with Mental Health Awareness Month. The EP received critical acclaim providing the perfect opportunity for Lighthouse to be announced.

Lighthouse was recorded in McKagan’s own studio which opened in 2019. Produced by Martin Feveryear, the album features some high profile collaborations which include Slash, Jerry Cantrell and Iggy Pop.

Before the release of Lighthouse, McKagan has a world tour with Guns N’ Roses. Currently in Europe, the band have some high profile UK dates with them headlining Glastonbury on June 24th before headlining Hyde Park’s British Summer Time on June 30th.
