Nordic Game Conference announces new speakers

More than are 140 speakers are set to appear at this year’s edition of Europe’s leading gaming conference.

Speakers at this year’s conference are covering everything from combat design to Google Cloud, marking the twenty-third and twenty-fourth editions of the conference. The conferences will be held in Malmö, Sweden, online and Helsinki, Finland from May 23rd to May 26th.

These speakers include such prestigious names as Espen Sogn, the Lead Living World Director at Guerilla Games, who will be discussing the process of creating a believable world for the upcoming blockbuster, Horizon Forbidden West. Additionally, Owlcat Creative Director Alexander Mishulin will discuss the approach taken to adapting the Warhammer 40,000 combat system to a turn-based RPG video game.

Another notable name is Jack Buser, the Director of Game Industry Solutions at Google Cloud. Having built numerous games platforms for Sony’s PlayStation and Google Cloud, Buser will give a talk regarding Google Cloud’s solutions for the game industry.

Operating since 2004, Nordic Game Conference is a gathering of thousands of industry professionals in the Spring and Autumn of every year, and is the only conference of its type to take place in Norden nations.
