Sleep Outside are a new alternative emo band based between Cardiff and London. Implementing an approach akin to the earlier wave emo bands such as Mineral, Braid, The Get Up Kids, and Jimmy Eat World, Sleep Outside bring a fresh attitude and some sparkling production values to their debut EP ‘This Won’t Ever Last’. The band’s first collection of tracks is a reflective and introspective journey set for release 13 October and features the single ‘Skeleton’, which is out today, along with accompanying music video.

Of the track, vocalist and guitarist Adam Holborn says: “‘Skeleton’ is my way of expressing how I feel in social situations that I’m not entirely comfortable with. It’s a reinforcement to myself and others that sometimes it’s okay to be the odd one out. It touches on the pressures felt, while growing up, to drink more than you want to or party harder than you can maybe cope with. This isn’t a song condemning partying or enjoying your youth, but more a reassurance that you can live life at your own pace.”

Sleep Outside are set to play their first gigs on an enviable line-up headlined by Lakes (Big Scary Monsters) with I Feel Fine (VENN Records) also supporting.
