On Saturday at the Leeds Festival, there were some great acts on the smaller stages, particularly the BBC Introducing Stage, notably Antony Szmierek, check out his single “The Words To Auld Lang Syne”. But it was ALT BLK ERA who really tore it up in the headline slot on that same stage. The Last Dinner Party really rocked the Festival Republic Stage.

Most of the action for us today though was on the Main Stages. Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls played show 2,799 and Frank and the band were on top form.

Yard Act wowed the crowd with a great set which included dancing mannequins. Mimi Webb created a flawless dance-driven pop performance. Foals were firing on all cylinders as they delivered a masterful set of songs that have become festival classics.

The day was closed by the headline performance from the Geordie Prodigal Son himself, Sam Fender!

He gave Bramham Park what many are already calling a career-defining set while showing his love of the North by wearing an Angel Of The North t-shirt. The encore came with waves of love from an adoring crowd.
