A car smash on the A66 gave an initial 1 hour delay, then a massive 3 hour queue to get in to general car parking, shockingly difficult trek up hill with our camping gear which took another couple of hours……BUT it’s not raining, we watched Nile Rodgers tear up the stage last night, we danced,we had a few beers and everything went alright.
Main learning point here, set off a lot earlier than you need to.
We are in the fields for my favourite festival- Kendal Calling and later today we have The Murder Capital, Lime Garden, We Are Scientists, Mel C and Kasabian. Good Times!!
