S] How are you today?

I’m very good thank you. My album “Heavy Metal Feelings” is out in exactly one month from today, so that’s really exciting and I feel hyped and happy for the future!

S] What motivates you outside of music – think specific people and places?

I take my art very seriously, so sometimes I need to recharge and reflect over my life and gather inspo and calm to be able to create more new music. I believe in manifesting your dreams and art, and that my dreams and goals are powerful and valid to me. I find motivation in my personal relationships and also being on tour, I often write new lyrics and poetry.

S] How important is image in terms of what you do?

My visual aesthetic in my artwork and personal style is very important to me. I feel like it’s an equally creative part of the music and is something that I enjoy spending time on. I have always naturally wanted to commit time to play with my image and visual output, and have so much fun with it.

S] Talk to us about some of the experiences you had developing ‘Lovesick’?

It was such a fun track to write. It was one of the last songs finished for the album and my producer and I wrote the song really quickly and easily. Magic happens when you are able to turn off your head, and trust your gut and feelings musically.

S] What is your mission statement as an artist?

To make people feel loved, liberated and confident in who they are. I’ve always felt like kind of a misfit in this world, so that connection of empowerment with my audience is such a huge part of music for me.

S] How do you define success, as a person and as an artist?

Success for me right now, is the privilege of living a life I have chosen for myself and spending it on music and creative ventures. There is still so much I wanna do creatively and can’t wait to see what the future holds with new fun projects.

S] Thanks so much for your time!!

All the best.
