Elden Ring - Shadow of the Erdtree Trailer

The Elden Ring DLC – Shadow of the Erdtree trailer is finally here! And it is glorious.

Since the release of Elden Ring back in February of 2022, players have been desperate for more. Our months of hearing nothing and waiting patiently have finally been rewarded with a pretty sensational trailer.

Are you excited about the Elden Ring DLC?

Shadow of the Erdtree is likely to be focused around Miquella, the child of Marika and a huge source of fan speculation since the game’s release.

We’ll soon be able explore the new locations within the Land of Shadow in all of its glory.
The trailer also shows us that new weapons and some rather spectacular looking weapon skills will also be buried somewhere within the Shadow of the Erdtree. Some new locations can also be seen in the trailer too -and of course, new dangerous swamps to test our resolves.

The announcement trailer has given us a peek at some of the up and coming bosses and monsters that we’ll have to cut down when the DLC finally comes out. And after waiting so long since the annoucement, we’re all hoping for a rather sizable expansion to keep us occupied for a while. Any reason to re-discover the Lands Between is a good one.

The trailer gives a great deal of attention to the new boss Messmer the Impaler, as well as a crazy impressive statue of him. It’s likely this will be yet another hard fought battle similar to that of Malenia. FromSoftware have a reputation of adding some of their most difficult bosses in expansions and DLCs, it’s unlikely to be different this time around.
