2023 is set to get even bigger for Royal Blood. With a host of summer festivals, headline shows and stadium shows as special guest to Muse already announced the band have just given fans even more.

Back To The Water Below will release on September 8th and a tour in support of the album will follow in October. Fans who pre-order Back To The Water Below from Royal Blood’s official store will gain presale access for the upcoming tour.

The band have today also released ‘Mountains At Midnight’ the lead single off the forthcoming album. The single takes the typical Royal Blood formula of combining their driving bass with groovy rock and roll rhythm.

The Brighton based duo took it upon themselves to self-produce the new album giving a fresh feel to the Royal Blood sound. This allowed the duo to take complete control of the direction of the album, while writing and recording at their studio in Brighton.

Ben Thatcher spoke on the album saying “the songs are in charge and if that means having a record that’s quite varied that’s what we’re going to go for, rather than trying to shoehorn everything into the same world. As a result, we’ve made a record that’s a bit of a rollercoaster. It’s everything we could do”.

Royal Blood are building on what was already a busy summer, by giving fans plenty to look forward to.
